Bonnie Pelnar Bio

From the first images Bonnie captured with a rental Motormarine during a 1987 Cozumel dive trip, she was hooked. Her hobby became a passion and her passion became a career. Now she lives out her dream as a successful photographer, producer and designer. Her company Under Watercolours, which started ten years ago with a small line of greeting cards, has grown to be world-renowned as Bonnie markets the dive and travel industry with her underwater photography, multimedia CD ROMs and award-winning designs and web sites.

Bonnie is a Magna Cum Laude graduate from the University of Wisconsin earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree emphasizing graphic arts and photography. After 15 years in the corporate world, she left her successful career to pursue her dreams and desire to travel the world. Today her talent takes her on assignments from the shallow reefs of Zanzibar to the underwater caves of Mexico's Yucatan peninsula.

Under Watercolours is recognized as one of the leading web designers for the dive and travel industry with over 100 original sites on-line, featuring more than 1200 of Bonnie's photographs and QuickTime VR movies from destinations all over the world.

Bonnie's photography has been seen in just about every dive magazine published and has been featured for her computer graphic talent in publications for the past 25 years. Her collection of photographs is available as stock and prints at www.UWCstock.com.

Bonnie has received numerous honors and awards for her work including the prestigious Summit Creative Award for the creation of the Fiji Islands CD ROM, competing against $20 million design firms and agencies world wide.
